By now we all know what happened in Israel on October 7 2023.

There was a music festival attended by young people and Hamas invaded and killed, raped, maimed, kidnapped 1400 people.

The people were at home, at the concert and or simply going about their day.

Since that day, tears are neverending, anxiety is the new normal. Must humanists are in shock at the reaction from people outside of Israel.

There have been too many sad days, filled with anxious moments.


Too many people looking for support from people, who pretend to be people, who pretend to fight for causes and care about others. Hollywood lies.

But Meryl Streep, Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, etc, are not raising their fists in support of the Jewish women who were raped and their bodies torn apart like paper dolls on October 7.

What ever happened to women fighting for women?


All the famous pretenders, are they watching, hearing, reading what has been going on?

This has been and continues to be a nightmare for Jewish people and for people who value life and humanity.


Videos of soldiers surprising their families with a short visit only to be gone forever the next day.

The pain is unbearable and the tragedy is neverending.

The truth has been fictionalized and the lies have become truth. Ignorance is dangerous.

Ignorance leads to anger and then anger leads to violence. Once that cycle begins, it’s never going to end.

The world is feeding off of hatred and xenophobia. Power is what is driving people. What is more powerful than scaring people or making fun of their physical attributes?

The trump (not worth capitalizing the T) cult fought against democracy and they truly wanted blood.

Thankfully no one man can burn the Constitution of the United States.


Do not look to others for support, look only within our family.

Do not look towards the stage pretenders any more, look only to our One true God.

No one can destroy our faith in God and our traditions. The laws of being humane towards others.

Jewish people are always too respectful to the value of each life.

When there is a need for assistance to save lives, Israel is always the first to send planes filled with food, medicine and doctors.

Before Israel invaded or bombed Gaza, they issued pleas, and warnings to the population.

We value human life before our very own lives.


If we have to die because of this respect towards life,
we will.
It’s why the nation of Israel will live on forever, while the nations of amalek
will change its identities from generation to generation.

Hence the prayer, Shema Yisrael Adonai Elohanu, Adonai Echad.
שמע ישראל ה’ אלוקינו ה’ אחד

Life takes away so much of our time, some find themselves feeling regret at having not done more with their kids, their spouses.


Some of us lose track of time, wake up one day and look in the mirror and can’t recognize the person in the reflection.
That’s life, the enemy of man is time.
Right?


The enemy of man should not be man.

What these men have stolen are moments which can never be found again.
They have stolen any sense of security or comfort one might feel at home.


They have stolen and they have incinerated not only physical life, but the spirit of life.


They have damaged the physical and they have damaged the souls.
These things can never heal within our lifetime.

Life is supposed to be strengthened by the scars and bruises of life.
Life is not meant to withstand what the people of Israel went through on October 7. It just isn’t.


As fellow humans, we should never accept or turn the other cheek when these acts take place.

I ask this question to the #metoo crowd.
What if that was your daughter at the concert?
what if that was your daughter being carried and paraded, nude and dead after being raped repeatedly?

Would you stay silent?
