We are a strange society.
We walk around in circles, hearing the cries of truth, yet we turn away.
We carry this load upon our shoulders, upon our chests…we never talk about it, never discuss it, save for a couple of late nights with a stranger.
We post our facades on social media for hundreds to see, comment and like.
Like…I never could understand how to like a story of death, disaster and or terrorism.
So much energy, so many words, wasted trying to lift the facade we carry around with us yet, we publicize our inner selves with photographs and words which drop slowly on virtual front pages throughout the infinite algorithms of strangers.
It’s all a lie
In a time when truth is simple math and is denied.
Is there innocence in ignorance?
Lies and precious words, used to weaponize the incorrect answers to the one plus one equalling…what?
We are a society that has been influenced by social media types, morally ignorant, visually beautiful sales people, walking advertisements for whoever will pay them. Proud to keep their eyes on fictional genocides.
What’s the hot hashtag for today? Truth is not required to solve of this equation, it’s always about which hashtag will increase likes, and keep their eyes on the latest cause.
When individualism no longer exists, there can be no truth.
People agreeing with the latest trends and judges never siding for truth and democracy, but for the sides of the political aisles which elected them.
Politicians, ha, never crossing party lines for fear of future retribution.
Where have all the headstrong and intelligent selfless people gone?
Have they ever really existed?
Are they hiding out of fear?
If so, shame on them.
There is no innocence in ignorance.
