Questioning your vision of reality is scary – but its a fear that must be addressed.
Its safe and comforting to believe that war is bad and that all people should be treated with the same liberties as written in the laws and the constitutions. They believe that no one should be tortured, imprisoned or isolated even if they have information that can stop the innocent from being killed, mutilated, raped or tortured themselves.
They listen to “Imagine” and they believe that the words sung by Mr. Lennon are possible.
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…
Doesn’t that mean “Imagine we all have the same beliefs or no beliefs at all?” Robots living in a world where individuality is not a word or a way of life.
It would be lovely to posses the liberal views of our upbringing and to apply those ideals to the world we are faced with.
“Turn the other cheek.”
“Make love not war.”
“War – what is it good for? Absolutely nothing.”
How wonderful if we would be able to follow the golden rule and not do things to our fellow humans that we would not want done unto ourselves?
How wonderful it would be if we all could live together in peace?
Imagine?
Unfortunately the world is filled with people who need to be obliterated in order for us to even get the chance to survive. Around the world there are groups of people who are evil, who kill for reasons that even the most hardened criminal could not imagine.
All religions and peoples are guilty of having groups of people who murder or terrorize. There are Jews, Christians, Buddhists and Sikh who kill. But they do not kill as often, as many or as a group like the Radical Islamists. Killing and terrorizing for them is a major part of their religion. They kill in the thousands and aim for the millions. Iran is building a nuclear bomb in order to gain the upper hand in their region. Aiming it towards the United States and Israel – the two democracies they detest the most. But Europe does not have to worry about being ignored or left out. Apparently they are on the Iran nuclear warhead tour as well.
The most powerful office in the world is occupied by a man who does not seem to understand the grave situation this world is in. He loses any sense of power each time he “draws a line in the sand.” Just like Bugs Bunny against Elmer Fudd.
Its a simple truth that the majority of the terrorism is being caused by Radical Islamists. Why Mr. Obama cannot express that is a mystery to me. Could it be that he has been threatened? When your family’s safety is at stake one cannot think or decide clearly. So if that is the case – perhaps he should step down. Then I think about the Vice President and…well…
Rudy Giuliani speaking at a conference in Arizona reminded me what this country needs. The country needs a powerful leader who will protect his home.
The speech Mr. Giuliani delivered at the Iranian-American Community symposium “Countering Islamic Fundamentalism, and a Nuclear-Armed Iran,” February 13, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona – is a speech to be listened to. Here it is.
When people are attacked or threatened the natural instinct is to respond either defensively or offensively. Either way they know they need to protect their home, their family. So they plan a response and do what is needed. Hard decisions are made. But, action is taken.
Mr. Obama just keeps drawing lines in the sand, backing up and drawing again. Unlike Bugs Bunny though, if things continue as they have been, it may be the Bugs who falls off the cliff and not the Elmer.
The world has never been a world of peace; but there were times when communication and media had no way to spread the word to try and stop the atrocities as they occurred. In this day and age of instantaneous reports from one side of the world to the other – nothing goes unreported.
We know what Boko Haram is doing, President Assad, ISIS, ISIL and Libya and all the subhuman murderers, rapists, destroyers of lives and homes…we know what they are doing less than a minute after it is done.
The world commemorates the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps and vow one after another, “Never again.” Hypocrites and co-conspirators each one of them who have the power to form a coalition to go after these evil subhumans – yet only pose and posture reciting slogans and prayers.
In this day and age with all the technology the world is not so big any longer. In this day and age the leaders of the world should be able to find a way to stop the cold blooded behavior. Its easy to find who the perpetrators are. They are not the Christians, the Jews or the Sikhs.
They are all Muslims. Maybe not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims.
Once you face the truth, no matter how frightful it might be, that is when you can face your enemies and find a way to defeat them. No matter the cost. War, no sane person would push for one. But sometimes a war is the only way to have a lasting peace.
