These past few weeks have been full of terrible acts against humanity. Abductions, rapes, cold blooded murders.
There are causes worth fighting for – causes to improve the world not just within a perimeter but outside of it as well.
Tyranny, suppression or prejudice against a people as a whole should not be tolerated.
Today its a rainy Independence Day in New Jersey. Ain’t no one on the beaches, in the pools or playing in the park. No music playing, no girls walking side by side in barely there bikini’s. The malls will be busting with people and Hollywood will be grateful to Mother Nature and possibly give her a cameo or a small part in a future movie.
In Asbury Park there wont be Gay couples strolling hand in hand, playing volleyball on the beach or simply sipping coffee and talking. The blacks, whites, tourists and the New Yorkers (i.e. Jews) wont be driving with the radios blasting and their hands on the horn. The Islamic ladies walking with their burkas will be shopping for the dinner tonight to break the fast of Ramadan while to their right and left are the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish ladies in their modest clothing and wigs doing some last minute shopping before the Sabbath begins at sundown.

Atheists see these scenes and chuckle.
Bruce Springsteen is singing, “Born in the USA” in a parked convertible as Eminem is going “Berzerk” in a passing car.

There is too much confusion today in the world about who is right and who is wrong. Its quite simple really.

Freedom and the ability to grant freedom to others regardless of differences is good. Tyranny filled with restrictions is bad and will only breed hatred and evil.

So what am I getting at here?
Freedom.

You can be anything you want here in the United States because a small group of rebels decided to stand up to tyranny by writing these words and signing their names below them as a sign of accountability.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
