I see a ghost from my past and I smile.

Where am I, and where are you?

An open book on a table, crumbs from a breakfast, or a cookie or two.

The alchemist holds the potion—can I have just a spoonful?

At the end of this road, four choices wait:turn back, turn right, turn left, or keep on going?

Down this street lie addresses I once frequented.

Old brothers of mine—we once roamed this city in search of…

Do you remember the choices we had then?

Can you recall those lost photographs from once upon a time?

I wander down the path. I choose the empty streets. Fate is tossed into the air, and I open my hands to see what catches.

Another corner, another choice.

Where to now?
